Sahodari Nivedita Kanya Gurukulam is a residential Gurukulam for girls who wish to become Scientists and Technocrats at a young age and pursue their careers in the Technology Industry, Artificial Intelligence, Research & Development and International Academia and make Bharath a technologically advanced country through indigenous gurukul model of learning.

Introduction
We are at a time now when the Country is going through an enormous amount of change in every dimension – especially in the field of education. Millions of urban parents are unwilling to send their wards to conventional schools, as they realize that making them good humans holistically is more important than seeking pure academic success.
The parents have been left with no other options than homeschooling. Although homeschooling allows creativity to blossom and helps educate their children better, the urban homes & communities are not equipped with the necessary ecosystem that is needed to educate a child. There’s a famous saying in English (also in Tamil), that “it takes a village to raise a child”. So certainly a home is not sufficient.
Countries like Finland have done extensive research on the methods of education and have come up with models of creative education, activity-based learning and so on. If we deeply study all such innovative methods across the world, all these practices were originally a part of our Bharat’s indigenous Gurukul Education which was eradicated in 1821.
Our indigenous education system is well known all over the world as a ‘Gurukulam’. In this juncture of unforeseen transformation, hundreds of New Gurukulams are being conceptualized, existing Gurukulams are being contemporized and the momentum to revive Gurukul education is taking place right in front of our eyes – in urban and highly educated communities.
Bharatiya shikshan Mandal is leading this momentum at the policy level and grassroots as well. Under the guidance of Bharatiya Sikshan Mandal, we are coming with a residential Gurukulam project for Girls with contemporary curriculum and traditional methodology. 10 Acres land has been identified near Kanchipuram – for the campus of Gurukulam. The Gurukulam is expected to functional by the Hindu New Year, Ugadi 2024.

Overview
To impart education through Scientific Gurukul Method by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and intellect is expanded to enable one to stand on one’s own feet. Bharatiya Method or Gurukul Education is not only Religious or Dharmic Education but it comprises of three dimensions मुक्तकरी शिक्षा (Education for Liberation), अर्थकरी शिक्षा (Education for prosperity), युक्तकरी शिक्षा (Education for Synergic life.)

Keeping the future technological opportunities in view, we are launching a new age Gurukulam.
Sahodari Nivedita Kanya Gurukulam is a New age Gurukulam to prepare the students with a good foundation in Mathematics, Statistics, logic, Sanskrit, and computer programming languages along with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Vedic Sciences and make them the best professionals in their fields.
The aim is the overall development of future citizens, brought up in a natural, loving and homely atmosphere, where learning takes place as play! The attitude of life as play, and learning as a very natural and involuntary growth – will develop the human being whose strength will be his character and purity.
